In a Drizzling Morning: A Poem by Shashi Dhar Kumar

In the drizzling morning’s gentle haze,
Where water whispers and droplets play,
I witness nature’s serene ballet,
As heavy rain paints the world in shades of gray.

The rhythm of droplets, a soothing song,
Nature’s Symphony where I belong,
Each tiny bead a shimmering gem,
Dancing on petals like a diamond.

The world awakens, refreshed with a new,
With every raindrop, life starts to ensue,
The green of the earth, a vibrant scene,
Glistening leaves, in rain-kissed sheen.

The sky above, a canvas of blue,
Peeks through the clouds as they slowly subdue,
A tapestry formed by nature’s hand,
A masterpiece created by Rain’s command.

In this drizzling morning, I find solace and peace,
A moment of stillness, a sweet release,
For in the water’s embrace, I am free,
To breathe, to dream, to simply be.

So let the heavy rain pour down,
Let it cleanse the earth, with nature’s crown,
And as the droplets continue to fall,
I’ll cherish this morning, embracing it all.
