The ALS Women’s Alliance organized 2ND ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2023 at DELNET, New Delhi on 5th August 2023.
The ALS Women’s Alliance organized its 2ND ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2023 at DELNET, New Delhi on 5th August 2023. The Conclave started with lamp lighting and a welcome note by Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS). In this conclave, two-panel discussions were organized. The first panel discussion on “Literature and the Art World: The Digital Age and Women” was moderated by Ms. Anita Chand and Mr. Manoj Krishnan. Panelists were Padma Ms. Shovana Narayan (Renowned Kathak Dancer) and Ms. Renu Hussain (Author & Poet). The second panel discussion on “Contemporary Women Writers: Breaking Stereotypes” was moderated by Ms. Vandana Bhasin (Editor, ALSphere magazine). Panelists were Ms. Amrita Bhalla (Author), Ms. Dolly Singh (Founder, Delhi Poetry Festival), and Dr. Bishakha Sarma (Author & Linguist).
The highlight of the ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2023 was the felicitation of the ALSWA Awards 2023. The award category and recipients were: ALSWA Poet of the Year Award-2023: Winner- Ms. Nisha Tandon, Dr. Minal, Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Deepti Srivastava, Ms. Sucharita Parija, Ms. Seema Srivastava, Ms. Anupama Kadwad, Ms. Mou Mallick Dey, ALSWA Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award-2023: Winner- Ms. Jagariti Mathur, ALSWA Blogger of the Year Award-2023: Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Ramya V, Dr. Gitika Verma, ALSWA Author of the Year Award-2023: Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Mousumee Baruah, ALSWA Community Service Award-2023: Winner- Gyandeep Growth Foundation, ALSWA Performing Arts Icon of the Year Award-2023: Winner- Ms. Shalini Mathur, Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Preethi Warrier, ALSWA Art Icon (Art/sculpture) of the Year-2023: Winner- Ms. Mou Mallick Dey, Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Shalini Mathur, Certificate of Excellence- Ms. Shilpa Bhatnagar.
The event ended with the felicitation of ALS NaPoWriMo 2023 winners and a vote of thanks. In ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2023, many shining stars in the world of art, literature, and community service congregated to share their ideas and creative talents in enthusiastic support of ALS Women’s Alliance and its initiatives.
ALS Women’s Alliance, founded by Mr. Manoj Krishnan, is a comfortable nook for women to share their experiences, happiness, career aspirations, or anything that matters to them or that can help other women. This networking and support group also aims to encourage women to engage in community activities and help them in their personal and professional advancement.
