When Incertitude Gulps the Known Figures

1

Some birds never return to their nest,

Some men never return to their hearth to rest.

Some caliginous clouds pour contingent calamities,

Weaving gossamer of incertitude to spawn timeless mysteries.

The darkness beneath the lamp lurks like some nocuous miscreant,

As the flame diminishes, its devilish shadow elongates, pervading more haze.

Some characters and chapters vanish without prior indications,

They cast a labyrinth clouding life with fables of distraction.

They are seasonal migrants who aviate from the furthest corner,

To temporarily refurbish the essence of living, evoking a fresh gust of zephyr.

But when the season terminates, and wind changes its direction,

They spoor behind, leaving a void that shoves life into isolation.

Do all critters on planet have a fate to meet?

Or only a fraction who find an address and closed ones to greet.

The mundane trajectory intercepts the inevitable destiny,

Some are showered with haven and name, and some melt in uncertainty.
