Unspoken

Unspoken

Words are only water foam,

At the shore –

When feelings are the tides,

And the sea’s my home

There are words unspoken,

Undeclared,

They just lie there,

Spun in silence

I leave them amidst the depths,

There’s ink that blots,

But no paper,

Not something you can spot

There’s beauty underwater,

But the cost –

Is diving deep,

Go there and you will see

There’s more to me,

Than what I will ever seem to be,

It’s not about the sand,

It’s all about the sea.
