Triumph

O resilient wildflower!

Devoid of sun, soil and rains

Sent to a rocky terrain

In parched cracks is lain

Still grows and blooms

With head erect in pride

Blowing the triumph-siren

Far and wide.

How glorious it is

To triumph and succeed

When winds blow contrary

The night is dark

And the perils run deep

The mighty unbending spirit

Overcomes all odds

Like the wildflower

That stubbornly grows

Rejoicing at its overarching

Victory and power!
