Tolerance: A poem by Gigi Mejri

Tolerance such a noble attitude
Ocean of love and gratitude
Lenient you become when you wear it
The elegance of words and deed
Recognition you shall reap, a seed sown deep
Anger, hatred forever desert your heart
Neither anguish nor regret dares approach
Courteous manners become the law
Elevation, virtues to you will bow
Tolerance softens the mood
The opportunity will collocate with good
Loads of positive vibes in return
Extirpation to evil, to wounds that burn
Respite from worry and sorrow
Alacrity tolerance follows when you call
Nightingale singing in the heart
Cooperation written on the palm of that hand you lend
Exultation and joy are the ultimate harvests
