The Lasting Hue

The lasting hue is that of love,

Red like the heart, like the rose,

It never fades, never wanes.

The lasting colour is the colour

of compassion, of kindness,

It never disappears.

The lasting hue is the hue of mercy,

Divine mercy, the attribute of the Almighty,

Without mercy, the world will collapse.

The lasting colour is the colour of nature,

Green like the leaves, like the grass,

So serene, so soothing.

The lasting hue is that of the ocean,

So grey and blue and foaming white,

Full of energy and exhilaration.

The lasting colour is that of the sky,

So pristine, so pure, the summer blue,

Filling the heart with joy.

These are the colours that will make you,

Happy, peaceful, blissful and warm,

and glowing inside.
