PRESS RELEASE: “ASIAN LITERARY SOCIETY’S INCREDIBLE INDIA” BOOK DISCUSSION AT INDIA INTERNATIONAL CENTRE(IIC)

“Asian Literary Society’s Incredible India” Book Discussion was held at the prestigious India International Centre(IIC), New Delhi on 18th January 2024. It was organized in collaboration with IIC and The Poetry Society (India).

Mr. Amarendra Khatua (Former Secretary, Ministry Of External Affairs-India) chaired the book discussion. Manoj Krishnan (Editor and founder, Asian Literary Society), Anita Chand (Administrator, ALS), and Kiren Babal (Author and Poet)) were the panelists. Manoj Krishnan shared the vision behind this book project and thanked all who contributed to this anthology. He also talked about the Asian Literary Society and highlighted its initiatives in the field of literature. ALS community members and contributing poets Neeti Parti, Vandana Bhasin, Mandira Ghosh, Mousumee Baruah, PD Jonakii, Manisha Amol, Vyomi Mallik, and Minakshi Bhasin recited their poems and also addressed the esteemed audience.

In Incredible India – An Anthology of Poems, selected verses inked by erudite poets from the Asian Literary Society community and others, have been included. These poems have been written on the theme of Incredible India with patriotic zeal. This anthology has been published to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence and 250 glorious weeks of ALS Weekly Poetry Contests.
