Who will understand this
long-distance longing?
Who will know that you are part of my soul?
If not here now, we will meet again
In a hundred years,
In another life, life after life.
I see you smiling from the sky,
I see you in every flower,
I see you in the moist leaves after a sudden shower.
You are all around me,
And within me, within my being,
Who can understand this emotion?
I wonder at this blessing I have received,
I am thankful for all this love that fills my heart,
I am glad that none can understand my immense love.
