Love Amaranthine

Sauntering through woods, with trees so green and high

Aureate beams making their way, as canopies touch the sky;

The rustling of leaves as we ramble, breaks the silence around

I hold your hand and hum the tune, oh what joy profound;

And euphoria fills my being, amidst this virescent labyrinthine

I dream of you, I dream of the woods and of our love amranthine.

And there is a brook that glides, founting from an idyllic space

A puncheon bridge passes over, with flowers cascading over the place;

The lovely woods are a wonderland, the bridge no less than a retreat

I hold your hand and walk up the plank, and my heart skips a beat;

And birds sing melodies of togetherness, amidst this world divine

I dream of you, I dream of the brook and of our love amranthine.

Honeyed lilting of the drizzle that falls, adds in to the grace

Air is redolent of happiness, as we sit in each other’s warm embrace;

Drenched in love and doused in soothe, we witness the moonrise

I hold your hands, as tears of contentment trickle down our eyes;

We thank the heavens and the heavenly, and the stars that align

I dream of you, I dream of solace and of our love amranthine.
