A Dream

I nourished a dream,

For years, I nurtured it.

A celestial being, an angel so kind,

From my ruinous hut, she pulled me out.

To a paradise named Kashmir

Her golden hair, silky and bright,

Her passionate gaze, lighting my night,

Her innocent eyes, deep with mystery,

I feel she is sponsoring my music.

My heart’s own beat

Hey, you ultra-wealthy Queen!

Your necklace’s worth surpasses my whole

She responded, while love found its voice.

Love is love, regardless of our worldly choices.

And I’ve come to understand,

Love knows no bounds.

But suddenly, a voice calls out with disdain,

“You slacker! Wake up, it’s 10 a.m.”
