“A BILINGUAL ANTHOLOGY OF POETRY AND PROSE”

Dear Members,

Every year, ALS Parwaaz Forum, our Special Needs support group, comes up with an anthology dedicated to our Special Needs community.

This year, we are coming up with an anthology titled “पहल |(An Initiative)” Bilingual Anthology of Poetry or Prose.

Theme:

Write about your experiences with people with Special Needs. This can be your personal experience or someone you know, or it can be a piece of fiction as well.

You may also write about any initiative that has been taken in this field by you or someone else.

The submission can be in the form of poetry or prose.

Who Can Submit:

– Indian nationals passionate about the cause of special needs.

Submission Guidelines:

– One ENTRY per Contributor

– Language: Hindi or English

– Word Count: Prose (story or article of not more than 1000 words)

– Poetry (not more than 24 lines)

– Format: MS Word (.doc)

– Email to: [email protected]

– Deadline: October 7, 2026

Declaration:

I, <Author>, do solemnly declare that my submission titled ‘<Title>’ is original and unpublished, and I have no objection to its publication in the Asian Literary Society & ALS Parwaaz Forum’s anthology titled “पहल | (An Initiative)”.

Note:

All the contributors are expected to buy at least one copy of the anthology.
The book will be published and available for purchase this October.
The book will be formally launched at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2027.

Also note that we strongly discourage the use of AI for submissions.

We request all members to join us in this initiative for the Special Needs community.
