Let Go

In life, we meet people all kinds,

some generous, sweet, full of sunshine,

others, like neutral shades

Some who make us feel guilty

about not living up to their mark,

creating an unreal world of expectations,

leaving us stressed, anxious, depressed,

exhausted, one feels terrible, uncertain,

manipulation, playing victim, blaming,

signals a relationship toxic

The unnecessary drama, would it ever end?

Let go of such unpredictability,

that brings a lack of self-worth

Be firm, let go, take the necessary step,

be it a friend, colleague or family,

firm boundaries must be respected,

at all costs, no matter what!!
