Asian Literary Society organized the ALS Poetry Meet at Khelgaon, New Delhi on 6th April 2024.
Many poets from the ALS community participated in this event and read their poems on diverse topics. Ms. Anita Chand (ALS Administrator) hosted the event and stressed the importance of poetry in our lives. Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS) focussed on the need for a vibrant community to promote good literature and art. Ms. Vandana Bhasin (Editor, ALS) talked about the ongoing ALS Napowrimo event: A 30 Days Poetry Writing Challenge. Dr. Bishakha Sarma talked about the preparations for the upcoming ALS Caravan Maldives 2024. Ms. Kiren Babal (Ambassador, ALS) shared her experiences of life weaved in a soulful poem. All the participants enjoyed the reading and appreciated fellow poets for their poetry renditions. All poets thanked the Asian Literary Society for providing a dynamic platform to its followers and members, promoting good literature and building a vibrant community.
