The Quiet Warrior

Mira faced her reflection, battling familiar doubts. Taking a deep breath, she stepped onto the stage. Her voice initially wavered. But as she shared her journey through depression, strength surged within her.

Rapt with attention, the audience could relate to every bit of her account.

Afterwards, a young woman approached hesitantly. “You gave me hope,” she whispered. Mira smiled knowingly, recalling her own struggles. With each victory, she had built resilience– therapy, self-care, confronting toxic relationships. She wasn’t Durga, but had learned to harness her inner strengths.

As they hugged, Mira realized, sharing experiences heals and empowers oneself and others!

The Bond

The elderly couple was overjoyed to welcome a young, robust tenant to the first floor of their two-storey house.

For the childless septuagenarian couple, the young tenant was more than just a lodger. He was the son they never had. They bonded very well.

When the older man fell ill, the young tenant took it upon himself to rush him to the hospital, ensuring he received the care he needed. The young man celebrated the first year of his shifting, overwhelming the couple with their special choice of sugar free sweets.

But, Sigh!  They never woke up after having that!
