When She Says No

She gives out a thousand-decibel screech

“Stop, you savages, do not desecrate my womb, I beseech”

They care two hoots, they wouldn’t let bloom a female bud

In a clandestine murder field, they tear it apart with a dreadful thud

The chamber walls tremble with her horrific screams

“Pleeeeeeease Sir, I beg of you, do not trample my dreams”

‘Those perks and promotions, silly, were not doled out in charity’

The unsuspecting she, falls victim to a lecher’s insanity

The new bride bawls, she struggles to be freed

My widowed mother can no longer feed your greed

The flames consume her, her pleas fall on a deaf breed

Gagged and stifled, she succumbs to the gruesome deed

Pinched and pushed and groped and touched

Stalked, intimidated, molested and clutched

She stifles a zillion screams each single day

She chooses to lose her voice to keep ignominy at bay

The marketplace reverberates with slaps and claps

He is kicked and punched, and boxed blue and black

A NO means NO, you better refrain when I refuse

I am not a commodity, I am tough enough to avenge abuse

And the She revives hopes of every SHE

To live a life of dignity, freely and fearlessly!
