She was wild, feisty, untamed
She was raw, new, unnamed
She was the odd one out
Without a care, she went about
Some called her brash, some bold
She never did as she was told
She had a mind of her own, unblemished
Her independence, she cherished
She loved being amongst nature
Which was wild and untamed, similar to her stature
She banished all societal norms,
She was a suffragette, working towards reforms
In a time and age, when men ruled
And women were completely ridiculed
She worked tirelessly towards the women’s cause
Wild, untamed, unblemished, determined without a pause
