Trails of Hope: An Introduction

Asian Literary Society and ALS Parwaaz Forum have been supporting the special needs communities and spreading awareness about them for the last few years.

The ALS Parwaaz Forum had organized many workshops, sessions, and events where eminent people working for the welfare of the special needs communities had participated and stressed the need to devise teaching strategies that are more friendly, useful, and result-oriented for people with disabilities.

In this anthology, the contributing writers have shared valuable information about physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, visual impairment, hearing impairment, intellectual disabilities like autism spectrum disorder, mental illness, disability caused due to chronic neurological conditions like blood disorders, multiple disabilities, etc and proposed teaching strategies for people suffering from them.

In this book project, each article contains detailed information about the specific type of disability and provides suggestions for better teaching strategies for people with special needs.

“Trails of Hope: An Anthology of Articles on Effective Teaching Strategies for People with Special Needs” is a sincere attempt to bring medical professionals, NGOs, volunteers, parents, educationists, and subject matter experts together, and come up with strategies that can help the special needs people in their training, education, and development.

I hope the readers will appreciate all the articles in this book.
