I am alone in the darkness
To which I have become accustomed to
Over these years of separation.
Of course, when a little hope surfaces
The room becomes lit
I find my shadow as my only companion.
The dust that settled in your mind
Was concealed by the fig leaf, perhaps,
Got mixed up with your ill intention.
The turbid water percolated soon
Through your decision to stay away
My heart crushed like a betel nut.
A void was created all around me
A shooting star burned to ashes
The moon and stars just looked on.
I find myself in turmoil, in mental agony
Neither in prison, nor having freedom
Life halted at a crossroads now.
