Books and the sea often amaze me,
One connects with both deeply.
Thoughts overflowing, serene the whole atmosphere would be,
That metaphorical paragraph, the hard-hitting monologue that I underlined.
Desperation to reach the next page after the predictions I created.
Took a break from my book writing,
Overwhelmed with the tranquillity of the sea.
Life is a roller coaster, one can agree!
The bittersweet memories, the ignorance life threw at me,
Where my patience and trust were tested and weakened,
One after another, the life lessons I penned.
Tears rolled down my cheeks,
Wiped my misty eyes as I left my past to where it should be.
Struggles and sacrifices have totally changed me,
As I yearned for the long-awaited arrival of my identity!
