The Color Of Celebration: A Poem by W Sofor Ali

0
Golden lights dance in midnight air,
Echoes of joy ripple everywhere.
Crimson flares in bursting delight,
Mark memories born in festive light.
Bangles of green and saris bright,
Songs that shimmer in candlelight.
Laughter painted in hues of cheer,
Moments that sparkle year to year.
In every face, in every street,
Color meets soul where hearts greet.
The color of celebration, so true—
Is the rainbow of me and you.
