Rooted in Love: A Poem by Dr. Smita Singh

Two trees stood apart, yet near,
Grounded deep, their roots sincere.
Through winds that whispered, storms that swayed,
Their branches met, a bond displayed.

No faces, no words, no human disguise,
Yet love shone bright, unspoken, wise.
Intertwined interwoven, interlaced, they stood, with hearts that knew,
Stay rooted firm, and love will ensue.

Their roots held steady, their branches embraced,
Nature’s silent lesson, beautifully traced.
“From the earth we rise, to the skies we grow,
When grounded in truth, our love will show.”

Their gentle union, a living creed,
Teaching the world, the love we need.
Not bending, not breaking, yet softly they taught,
“From rooted strength, all love is wrought.”

So learn from the trees, their message profound,
Stay rooted in life, and love will surround you.
Two trees, one lesson, eternal and true
“Root yourself deeply, and love will find you.
