Have you ever heard the river complain?
Or stop its flow of the hurt with disdain
It meanders around the obstacles we create
Still glides through the gravel, smoothing the edge
A soothing sound proclaiming its calming nature
Sailing blossoms atop, an abundant living creature
Unless perturbed, not to cross the set boundary
Flows unhindered downstream peacefully
It does not misunderstand fleeting for the eternal
Be it any time or season of the year
Biting winter, smouldering summer, blossoming spring, rough autumn
Retains the capacity to be forever solemn
Romantic association with the pouring rains
It embraces it with wide open arms
While the brooks join it from all over
Ferociously, it flows into the sea harder
A stillness in a moment creates ripples in the next one
Assuages all the noises, silences it offers
Too much to learn, there is more than we can
A rediscovery that encompasses all
