My Long Wait is Over
[Patience is the root, peace is the flower]

I. The Silence

The winds forgot the songs they knew,
The rivers slept in beds of blue.
The stars fell mute behind the veil,
And breath became a ghostly sail.

II. The Effort

Yet I kept faith through barren skies,
For roots must deepen ere they rise.
I sang to seeds no eye could prize,
I dreamed the root beneath the tree.
True growth is born in silent ground,
The soul wakes slow, without a sound.
Faith must be tried by empty hands,
And Time must turn its hidden sands.

III. The Realization

My long wait is over now —
My heart is calm, I learn the how.
I drink from wells of deepest peace,
I wear the cloak of my release.

IV. The Flight

Beyond the walls the shadows weave,
I step into what I believe.
A golden hush enfolds my flight,
And every breath becomes new light.
