My country shines bright, the worlds largest democracy
Ingrained with brotherhood, people living in harmony
I take immense pride in being a proud citizen
Enjoying a rich heritage dappled with cultural attractions

Snow capped Himalayas standing tall and wide
Protects our motherland, a welcome nature’s design
Traversing the landscape are the meandering beautiful rivers
Gifts us spectacular serene ghats and water reserves

Raw beauty of numerous exotic hill stations
A haven for climbers, a popular tourist destination
Their unique splendour adds to the opulence
Each having a different identity and historic significance

We follow a balanced mix of science and spirituality
My country is indeed a progressive entity
There is enough talent for creating latest technology
We stand upright on our promises,
truly noteworthy

A mosaic of multi cultural existentiality
Every nook and corner, amalgamation of diversity
Together we rejoice a plethora of food and festivity
Mutual love and respect, an inherited legacy
