Far across the field and ocean,
where the sky appears to meet.
Lovely view of the countryside
or pristine shores to greet.
There lies the heaven’s gate,
that’s what Granny told.
Gateway to Lord’s abode of peace,
where life and death unfold.
The gate seems hidden behind the clouds
but visible after rain,
bedecked by seven hues of the rainbow,
archway to explain.
Adorned by vibrant colors of the palette
during dawn and dusk.
Lovely twilight smeared from brushes
toned in glorious bask.
Ethereal rim that defines the edge
of earthly mundane world,
with the divine vastness of the cosmos
bluntly getting unfurled.
Perhaps, Granny too crossed this brink
of the horizon in green and blue.
Sublime, blissful accord still haunts
in volatile, mystique hue.
