Hope’s Resilience: A Poem by Daniel Miltz

0

Beneath the veil of dusk and gray
Where hope seems lost and dreams decay
A whisper stirs the silent air
A glint of gold in deep despair
The shadow spreads with ruthless hand
It paints its rule across the land
Yet even darkness knows its end
When morning’s light begins to bend
A single spark, a candle’s flame
Can break the night, defy the shame
For every tear that falls in fear
A brighter dawn is drawing near
So walk the path though dim it seems
Hold fast to truth, believe in dreams
For always, past the darkest night
The soul will rise and find the light
