A Kalamkari (Shrikalahasti Style) painting titled “The Sun God/ Suryadev” by artist Rhiti Chatterjee Bose.

In the words of the artist:
This was made when the pandemic had engulfed our world and everything seemed bleak. I wished the return of happy and positive days. Much like every morning brings in a new hope with the sunrise, I wanted to channel the same hope through the painting of Suryadev.

Acrylic painting titled “Different Colors of Life” by artist Adhyayan Trehan

Alcohol Ink art titled “Survival and The Circle of Life” by artist Piyusha Vir
In the words of the artist:
The earth doesn’t stop and neither does time. The infinity rings in alcohol ink art, that also look a lot like roses, represent the infinite cycle of life and death that always inspires, motivates, and reminds us to keep going forward despite challenges and setbacks. While it is important for us to move forward, it is also critical to pause once in a while, just like we need the Earth to recover to avoid the calamity of climate change. For me, these roses are also a reminder of our need and dependence on nature.
