Way back in my twenties, when I visited the majestic Sun Temple, Konark, I had a profound reckoning that one day I would like to bring this marvelous monument on canvas. Slowly, as the time passed by, this reckoning, though dusted, was always brewing in my thoughts. Now, after many years, when I decided to draw the painting, I am glad that it has come out so close to how I had seen it.
