Who or what inspired you to embark your journey in the field of Arts?

Well, the Asian Literary Society has virtually brought out the artist in me.To get a platform is in itself a great motivation to venture into any creative field. Everyone has creativity and the willingness to start is a great motivation in itself.

Have you pursued any formal or professional training in arts or are you self-taught?

Totally self-taught.

What is your practice routine?

Occasionally when the mood sets in or if the exhibition dates are at hand.

Who has been your biggest influence or inspiration for your growth in arts?

All my learning and ideas drawn has been from YouTube and then I project my own idea in my art form.

How do you approach creating new artwork? Do you follow some personal guidelines?

I love doing doodling, zentangle lines, and neurographic art forms as they don’t pose freedom to scribble any which way . The final result is always a pleasant surprise to me.

Which is your preferred medium for art?

I love to dabble with pencil colours, water colours, acrylic colours, and even oil paints. I try using anything that sets the mood of my painting.

Tell us about your art goals for this year.

Always to participate in ALS art exhibitions.

What would you advise aspiring artists, especially the ones who consider themselves too old to start with this creative form of expression?

Try it. There is surprise stored in every art form. Just set your heart into it.
