     Ms. Madhumita Sinha

Who or what inspired you to embark on your own journey in the world of arts?

Well, my inspiration for both my creative pursuits namely poetry and Art are both from life and nature around. Splashing rainbow hues through my pen and brush has been the most amazing experience of growing up and evolving as a person and an artist both.

Have you studied arts or obtained formal training in it?

I have never done any formal training but learned through observing and experimenting mostly.

Describe your art style.

My art style is Freestyle, modern, and abstract mostly letting the viewers form their own perspective on my art rather than taking the liberty to dominate over my own idea.

For how many years have you practiced your art, and have you had to overcome any hurdles on the way?

Doing my art since childhood for my own happiness mostly privately without letting people judge or express their opinion on them as I did it solely for my own joy and was not sure how good or bad I was, it’s only last 2-3 yrs I thought of bringing them out to the world.

What memorable responses have you had to your work?

I have been extremely fortunate to hear positive responses and appreciation from people who saw my art giving me the confidence to go on further.

What do you aim to achieve in the future?

I don’t have any laid out plan as such but wish to give my talent some more time to further evolve and polish it and bring out to people

Is there any specific area you now wish to explore?

I wish to explore in pottery and sculpture-making in the future.

What would you advise youngsters inclined towards the arts?

My advice to youngsters and children would be to follow their hearts and not be scared to bring out their art in the world and if needed learn it from some good masters as I feel I missed on all this as a youngster. It’s always good to start young however age should never be a hurdle.
