ALS Parwaaz Forum organized an online event on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day

ALS Parwaaz Forum, in association with the Asian Literary Society and ALSphere Foundation, organized an online event on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day on 21st March 2025. In this event, participants from the special needs community from all over India enthusiastically participated. Participants Deepshikha Rathaur, Anoushka Tandon, Devansh Chandra, Rashmi Patil, Tejaswi Desai, Sameeksha Gupta, Siddhanth Palaparti, Drashti Hetal Dipak, Tarun Nair, Krishendu Chatterjee, and Ritesh Kishore enthralled the audience with their soulful performances.

Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS), Zeba Hashmi (Administrator, ALS Parwaaz Forum) congratulated all the participants for their outstanding performances.

Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS), in his message, said that we should remember the power of acceptance, inclusion, and love. Every person deserves respect, support, and a chance to shine in their own way. Today, we stand united in celebrating the beautiful diversity that makes our community stronger.

Zeba Hashmi (Administrator, ALS Parwaaz Forum) stressed upon the need to showcase the talents and achievements of special needs community members and how ALS Parwaaz Forum focuses on supporting the special needs community and helping its members to learn and grow together.

All the participants were felicitated at the end of the event. This initiative was well appreciated by members of the ALS Parwaaz Forum.

World Down Syndrome Day, 21 March, is a global awareness day that has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. ALS Parwaaz Forum is a support group committed to helping individuals of all ages with various disabilities, alongside their families and caregivers.
