ALS Parwaaz Forum organized an online Art Exhibition on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day.
ALS Parwaaz Forum, in association with the Asian Literary Society and ALSphere Foundation, organized an online Art Exhibition on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April 2025. In this event, participants from the special needs community from all over India enthusiastically participated. Participants Deepshikha Rathaur, Rashmi Patil, Tejaswi Desai, Sameeksha Gupta, Siddhanth Palaparti, Drashti Hetal Dipak Shah, Zinia Desai, Jai Gangadia, Mohammed Affan Hashmi and Ritesh Kishore enthralled the audience with their outstanding artworks.
Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS), Zeba Hashmi (Administrator, ALS Parwaaz Forum) congratulated all the participants.
Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS), in his message, said that we should celebrate the unique perspectives and strengths that individuals on the autism spectrum bring to our community and together, we could create a world that embraces neurodiversity in all its forms.
Zeba Hashmi (Administrator, ALS Parwaaz Forum) stressed the commitment to building a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and included.
All the participants were felicitated at the end of the event. This initiative was well appreciated by members of the ALS Parwaaz Forum.
World Autism Awareness Day is observed annually on April 2nd to raise awareness about autism, promote acceptance, and encourage inclusion for individuals on the autism spectrum. Established by the United Nations in 2007, it’s a day to celebrate the strengths and unique perspectives of autistic people while addressing the challenges they may face. ALS Parwaaz Forum is a support group committed to helping individuals of all ages with various disabilities, alongside their families and caregivers.
