A Stroll

As the Sun got ready to set for the day

The line of street lamps lit up the way

The busy streets now looked so lonely

No hustle bustle as shops closed nearby

Feeling too tired from my daily routine

I decided to take a pause in between

Seeing me suddenly unplug

My beloved gave me a delicate hug

Lovingly he took my hand in his

In the fresh air we rushed just like this

A leisurely stroll with my family

Gave immense pleasure truly

Hand in hand we walked slowly

Exploring the natural beauty

We looked forward to the bright light

Leaving the dark shadows behind

The time seemed to pause for a while

As we enjoyed quality time in our own style
