Hope: A poem by Dr. Sudha Subramaniam

Let me nestle you in my arms my dear,
Let me touch you,  feel you near;
The kiss of life shall overcome the kiss of death,
Yesterday’s fairyland shall welcome tomorrow’s happy endings.
As hidden stars to light up the night appear,
Before the dawn is the darkest hour.
The surface of the water reflects changing time
While oysters in the depth hold secrets sublime;
The parting revealed between oceans of sorrow
Is the path to your dreams,  encased in tomorrow.
Rivers of despair shall turn into cascades of joy,
Showers of divinity ripples of abundance deploy.
Moments of time melting into an hour
As we aspire and bond together;
Flowers that closed their petals and sunk into the mud,
Reviving with fresh sunbeams and blooming afresh;
Every oasis that turned into a mirage,
Returning with perpetual succor;
Yes, the ink that flowed from pens Now dry
Shall be the words that herald a new age!!
