Sunset Years

“Don’t make me wear a diaper, I will control myself,” said Grandpa to Simon’s mom.

“You don’t have to rush looking for a bathroom when others don’t have time to guide you to one,” Simon’s mom said.

Grandpa cleaned his eyeglasses, “I need a new pair. I don’t read well, nor is TV clear.”

Simon hugged his favourite human, “Grandpa, I want to be fun like you when I grow up. You tell me funny stories and play board games with me.”

Grandpa fixed his dentures, held his walker and said, “Let’s go to the park for our evening walk.”
