Nomadic Wind

0

Wandering through the valleys,

deserts, forests and urban alleys,

combing through the clump of bougainvillaea,

brushing dew drops off the fresh leaves of chrysanthemum,

the breeze trespasses the gated pathways!

No one can stop this mad gust of wind

The planetary forces control its directions,

making it flow too far, far away

Carrying the spirit of a nomad–

A curious traveller continues to move,

swaying the shrubs of hibiscus

Passing through the trimmed hedges,

Crossing the iron bars on the wall,

Swirling around the lampposts,

Traversing through the lanes,

To blend with the mist that invites it

into its dim-lit brumal void.

The gust of breeze somehow decelerates its flow

to move along with the misty glow

Stop, it would not, but touch, playfully,

all that it meets in its way—

every surface, every material,

with the ephemeral pauses of an impulsive nomad.
