Asian Literary Society (ALS) and ALS Parwaaz Forum organized a meaningful virtual celebration on World Autism Awareness Day 2026, featuring a special webinar on “AI Tools for Students with Disabilities.” The program aimed to promote awareness, inclusion, and empowerment by exploring how artificial intelligence can support and enhance learning opportunities for students with disabilities.
The special online webinar was held on Thursday, 2nd April 2026. It was presented by Mr. Manoj Krishnan, Founder of the Asian Literary Society and ALS Parwaaz Forum, in the presence of Ms. Zeba Hashmi, Administrator of ALS Parwaaz Forum.
Through insightful discussions, the session highlighted the transformative potential of AI tools in making education more accessible, personalized, and inclusive for neurodiverse learners and students with disabilities.
Adding a vibrant and creative dimension to the celebration, ALS Parwaaz Forum also presented its World Autism Awareness Day 2026 Special Online Art Exhibition, showcasing the remarkable artistic talents of special needs community members: Hritaban Das, Ritesh Kishore, Anoushka Tandon, Bihag Srinivas, Mohammed Affan Hashmi, Deepshikha Rathaur, Ali Masood Raza, Zinnia Desai, Tejasvi Desai, Jay Gangadia, Anvi Vijay Zanzarukia.
The exhibition brought joy, appreciation, and a powerful message of ability, creativity, and inclusion, reinforcing that talent and expression know no barriers. Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Krishnan emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and community platforms to support individuals with disabilities: “AI tools open new doors for students with disabilities, enabling them to learn, create, and thrive in ways that were previously limited. Through awareness and innovation, we aim to build a more inclusive world where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
