The ALS Arthritis Forum organized a walkathon in Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, on 21st March 2026 to raise awareness about arthritis and celebrate the high spirits of arthritis patients and caregivers.
Members of the ALS Arthritis Forum community enthusiastically participated in the event. Manoj Krishnan, Founder of ALS Arthritis Forum, extended his gratitude to all the participants of the walkathon. A poetry reading session was also organized on this occasion, in which Mr. Manoj Krishnan, Shivpriya, Manisha Amol, Anita Chand, Rajesh Kakkar, Barkha, Geeta Kishore, Ritesh Kishore, Roopali Saxena, Kiren Babal, Vandana Bhasin, Neeti Parti, Nisha Wadhwa, Anjana Kushwaha, Anirudh Buddh Singh, Poonam Chopra, and many others participated.
Arthritis, a leading cause of disability globally, affects over 350 million people worldwide, with osteoarthritis being the most common type. It is an umbrella term for over 100 conditions that cause joint pain and inflammation, impacting people of all ages, races, and genders.
Manoj Krishnan, Founder of ALS Arthritis Forum, said, “To spread awareness about arthritis and enhance the quality of life of patients, it is essential to connect arthritis patients and their caregivers. Our community works to build a strong support network of people with arthritis, including patients, caregivers, physicians, and volunteers, while providing relevant advice and emotional support to our members.”
The ALS Arthritis Forum is a support group dedicated to spreading awareness about arthritis and connecting those suffering from this chronic condition with their caregivers.
