The new year begets a new beginning
A new opportunity to fulfil new dreams
To work upon the unfinished tasks of the year gone by
And relish its success with time and tide
As we start afresh with vigour and vitality
It becomes a goal in complete totality
We need to own our dreams to convert in reality
Else it continues to hide in the bylanes of our memory
Renewed thoughts form the basis of creation
Never let it rest in the womb of hibernation
Each task gets accomplished by sowing the seeds of ideation
All efforts have to align in the right direction
There should be no room for regrets
Make a new resolution to wriggle out of the closet
Grit and determination are needed to lay the foundation stone
To stand atop the pillar of success all along
The pace gets set as we magnify the results
If not the stars, at least a handful of clouds
The joy is immense as opposed to the sweat of diligence
Let’s make it happen, though it might seem impossible
