It’s an alluring cocktail,
An effervescent mixture of language,
Capable of delivering a worthy translation: a script,
Sometimes incomplete–those commas, colons,
Yet a definite closure opens to excitement!
It’s not an easy approach nor mundane,
The field of emptiness on that page,
Yet the opening soliloquy by the ‘master creator’,
Ornamenting the words, taming the lines,
All on a carved Chinar writing desk.
It’s a cocktail of exclusiveness,
By invitation only,
To those diary collectors, pen collectors or simply thinkers,
A miscellany of writing, editing, drafting,
Exploring the ruminative mind of a ‘writer’.
In an assorted fashion, words arrive ‘every day’,
Neatly tagged but compulsory to be unboxed,
Demanding definition unapologetically,
The writer busy chiselling those words, those alphabets,
Past midnight! Yet on an unfinished pilgrimage!
