Oh, lunar luminescence!
Thy pleasant milky white presence
robs me of my mind’s presence
into a celebration of exuberance.
In solitude I see Thee, each night, new,
To share your solitary appearance that I view.
Basking in thy attitude, a dream would ensue
that draws me towards Thee–a tranquillity I pursue.
How magnanimous is Thee!
That never doth forget to see me.
Exhibiting thyself in myriad fractions,
despite a lack of self-glowing ability,
Thou dost call upon me to shine,
With whatever sheen I have with me,
With whatever meagre strength I have within me
Thou beckon me to shine.
