ALS Arthritis Forum Celebrates Arthritis Awareness Month 2025 with Impactful Initiatives
ALS Arthritis Forum proudly concludes Arthritis Awareness Month 2025, a month dedicated to raising awareness about arthritis, a chronic condition affecting millions worldwide. Throughout May ALS Arthritis Forum was engaged in a series of impactful activities to educate, inspire, and support those living with arthritis and their families.
This year’s Arthritis Awareness Month featured a robust lineup of initiatives. ALS Arthritis Forum disseminated vital information about arthritis, covering its types (such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), symptoms, management strategies, and the importance of early diagnosis. These resources aimed to empower individuals with knowledge to manage their condition effectively and advocate for better healthcare access.
This month, a community-driven virtual event Healthathon, was organized. It fostered a sense of community and motivated participants to prioritize joint health. ALS Arthritis Forum also organized engaging week-long daily challenges to promote physical activity, self-management education, and mindfulness. These challenges were designed to highlight simple lifestyle changes that can reduce arthritis risk and improve quality of life, resonating with the global theme of informed choices leading to better outcomes. In the Selfie and Slogan Contest, participants shared creative slogans and selfies to raise awareness about arthritis.
Manoj Krishnan, Founder of ALS, expressed deep inspiration from the enthusiastic participation in Arthritis Awareness Month 2025. He highlighted that through educational efforts, the Healthathon, daily challenges, and the Selfie and Slogan Contest, ALS Arthritis Forum fostered hope and community support, thanking all involved for advancing awareness and resilience for those affected by arthritis.
The ALS Arthritis Forum remains committed to advocating for those affected by arthritis and other rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs).
