‘By discovering nature, you discover yourself’–Maxine Lagace
Nature is an integral part of our lives. All our surroundings, living as well as non-living things, be it the sky, mountains, oceans, rivers, land, water, air, fire, plants, forests, animals, Sun, moon, stars, etc, are nature. It takes care of us, nurtures us and helps us like our own mother and provides all the resources we need for daily living.
The beauty of nature is truly enthralling. As the Sun rises each day, filling the cerulean sky with resplendent multicolours, the darkness of the starlit sky dispels. Uncertainty of mind disappears, and the heart is filled with gratitude and new hope. We get a new opportunity to explore life. Be it the purple-headed mountains, huge glaciers or the playful fresh water brook, tall evergreen trees standing like majestic kings or the jovial breeze, nature is magical. Butterflies and bees collecting nectar from blooming flowers in spring or the leaves changing colours in autumn and falling in a swirl on the ground, sweltering summer days, silent cold winter nights, thunderstorms and rains, lightning and roaring clouds, chirping birds, squirrels running about, all have their charm. The beauty of nature leaves us spellbound.
We can never have enough of nature.
In our quest for more of everything, luxuries, power and whatnot, we are destroying Mother Nature at a lightning speed by senselessly cutting down the forests, illegal mining, and killing natural flora and fauna. Nature is like a transcendent poem written by the Omnipresent himself. Humans have to pledge to keep it clean and beautiful since
THEY HAVE NOT INHERITED NATURE
BUT, BORROWED IT FROM THEIR CHILDREN.
