Love That Wins a Wife’s Heart

Radika’s beauty Parlor was a popular destination for clients ranging from young girls to old women. Her services were excellent, and her sweet demeanour won everyone’s hearts. She could transform an ordinary girl into a ravishing beauty. When Shalini came to Indore to attend a fortnightly Training Program, she visited the Parlor and was very happy with the beauty tips provided by Radika. Though Radika generally kept her conversation confined to her professional ethics, many of her clients discussed with her their domestic issues too. She often helped them in whatever way she could.

Radika could sense that Shalini was conscious of her beauty and liked to maintain high standards of her beauty regime. Shalini often told Radika how many colleagues of hers feel attracted towards her and flirt with her, which she enjoys, but she feels let down as the Training officer, a handsome man, doesn’t even throw a glance at her. She tried hard to impress him, but all her efforts failed. Though Shalini had no intention of getting seriously involved with that Training Officer, yet she yearned for his attention. Today was the last day of training and everyone was supposed to get a gift for the person he or she most admired in the team. Shalini had purchased a wristwatch for her Training Officer.

She came to Radika’s Parlor and requested her to make her look like a diva so that she could win the first round of dance with her Training Officer. It was her last chance to impress him as tomorrow she would leave for Indore, back to her parent office. Radika found it a bit baffling as to why she wanted to seek attention from a man who wasn’t even looking at her but being a core professional, she promised Shalini to make her look like a princess whose charismatic persona would make her boss fall in love with her. Looking at the mirror, Shalini felt her boss wouldn’t be able to take his eyes off her today as she looked devastatingly beautiful. Shalini showed Radika the wristwatch she had bought for her boss. She thanked Radika for her sincere love, and both promised to remain in touch. Radika said to her, “Send me your pictures as you dance with your dream man.” Shalini gave a sweet smile and left.

Back home, Radika had her meals, and sat to watch the web series ‘Fool Me Once’ as her husband Suboth was supposed to come late tonight due to a get-together in his office. Around midnight he came, and gave her a gift packet telling her that he got this from one of his colleagues as a gift exchange gesture. Radhika opened the gift pack, and to her surprise, the gift was the same watch shown to her by Shalini that she had got for her boss.

Radika embraced Suboth tightly, crying tears of joy, “Subodh, you are the best gift I got from Almighty. I am a proud wife.”

Suboth smiled at the overwhelming love of Radhika.
