Fairyland

In the fabulous world of fairies my mind often wandered

Where idyllic tales of beautiful princess and charming prince yondered

It seemed like a land loaded with heavenly treasure

Giving my childhood dreams an immense pleasure.

I wanted to be like the princess from the various tales

She always had the fairies and angels for her aid

Helping her whenever she needed them the most

They made her life simple and saved from the worst

Embracing the dreams of fantasy never letting it go

I fell in love with the fairytales living with the flow

But little did I know it was all an illusion

Nothing such happens in real life situation

From finding a true love to happy endings

As I grew, everything seemed descending

There were more monsters than fairies and angels however

Who created painful scars on our mind forever

I waited for fairies to come and help

But for my rescue none of them came

To stay in this world with dignity, I learnt

One has to fight his own battles, and stay unburnt
