Asian Literary Society organized the ALS Independence Day Special Event 2024.
Asian Literary Society (an initiative of ALSphere Foundation) in collaboration with East West Public School and ST. Johns School, Bengaluru organized the ALS Independence Day Special Event on the Asian Literary Society’s Facebook platform on 15th August 2024. This online program included recitation of poetry written by students and their patriotic performances.
Participants were: Naisha Sharma (Class: VII B, St. John’s High School), Pranam Acharya (Class: V B, St. John’s High School), Vinanthi (Class: VII B, St. John’s High School), Anupama CH (Class: IX A, East West Public School), Vishnu Kulkarni (Class: VII A, East West Public School), Fasiha Tabassum (Class: V A, St. John’s High School), Syeda Ruthba (Class: VI, St. John’s High School)and Hifza (Class: VII B, St. John’s High School).
Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS) and Ms. Grace SithaRaman (International Coordinator) thanked all participants and Asian Literary Society members for their participation and support.The event reminded us the Power of Speech and the Power of the Pen are the two important components of Democracy. Children penned their own poems in the English Lab and lent their voices to recite them.
ALS Independence Day Special Event 2024 received a good response from viewers who applauded the Asian Literary Society and its initiatives.
Asian Literary Society was started in 2017 to promote Asian literature, art, and indigenous languages all over the world. With members in more than 100 countries, the community has provided a vibrant platform for artists and writers from all over Asia. ALS also serves special needs people through its community-driven program.
