The ALS Women’s Alliance organized its 3RD ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2024 at M.L. Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance Francaise de Delhi, New Delhi on 6th July 2024.
The Conclave started with lamp lighting and a welcome note by Mr. Manoj Krishnan (Founder, ALS). In this conclave, a panel discussion on “Changing Faces of Women Protagonists in Literature” was organized. Dr. Amarendra Khatua (Former Secretary, MEA), Prof. Laksmisree Banerjee (Ex-Vice Chancellor, Kolhan University), Dr. Subhashree Panigrahi (Director, Rajya Sabha), and Dr. Vinita Narula (Former Vice Principal, lady Irwin College) were the panelists. Vandana Bhasin (Editor, ALSphere Monthly Magazine) talked about the achievements of the ALS Women’s Alliance Community. After this insightful panel discussion, Parijat Petals- a poetry anthology by Alka Balain was released by distinguished guests.
The highlight of the ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2024 was the fabulous dance performances by the young girls dance group from Khushi Dance Academy, the Cancer Survivor Children from Cankids Kidscon, duo of Khushi Sengar and Shivpriya, and the women group of Kiren Babal, Roopali Saxena, Shikha Kishore, Sumita Singh, Alka Yadav and Anshu Nagar.
In this event, the winners of ALSWA Awards 2024 were felicitated. The recipients were: ALSWA Poet of the Year Award-2024: Winner- Deepti Srivastava, Dr. Minal, ALSWA Blogger of the Year Award-2024: Winner- Ramya V, ALSWA Art Icon of the Year Award-2024: Winner- Anita Malhotra. Along with them, the ALS NaPoWrimo 2024 winners were also felicitated by ALS leaders. There was a segment for women poets who enthralled the audience with their verses. The poets who recited their poems were Dr. Minal, Roopali Saxena, Nisha Tandon, Latha Warrier, Dr. Nisha Wadhwa, Dr. Sehla Ahmad, and Swati Garg.
In 3RD ALS WOMEN’S ALLIANCE CONCLAVE 2024, many luminaries from the world of arts, literature, and community service gathered to share their thoughts and support ALS Women’s Alliance activities.
ALS Women’s Alliance, founded by Mr. Manoj Krishnan, is a comfortable nook for women to share their experiences, happiness, career aspirations, or anything that matters to them or that can help other women. This networking and support group also aims to encourage women to engage in community activities and help them in their personal and professional advancement.
