The Train I Missed: A Poem by Preeti Bawa Talwar

0
The train I missed clacked away,
While I stood watching the fading day.
Alone, my emotions were at thrall,
My dreams crashed, yet I stood tall.
In that silence, I found a new spark,
A chance to make my mark.
When I thought all roads were sealed,
A beautiful new horizon was revealed.
Serendipity in missing the train,
For it led to immense gain.
The missed connection whispered, “Just explore,”
One door closed, but another opened, helping me soar.
In the pause and miss,
Lay hidden the future for a golden bliss.
