The Trail: A Poem by Anindita Bhattacharjee Mohapatra

I walked down The Trails of my memory lanes,
To revisit all loses and gains,
To hold on to my roots, to hold on to my friends,
Some seemed faded, some regained…
The trail was far narrow and wide,
Irony and metaphor on every side…
The fallen leaves made more sound…
As I stepped on them in my mind’s ground…
I looked back….leaving a Trail…
Boarding again in memories rail…
The trail..seems to be unending and a beautiful ride
Memories faded, fresh, but still walking with pride…
